2. Information collected
We collect your display name, email, country, age band, chosen language, club and playing position, referral attribution, optional business-owner and marketing choices, terms acceptance, predictions, quiz answers and timing, submitted facts and results, device language, push subscriptions and notification choices. Prize claims may include date of birth, ID images, country and shipping address.
3. Purposes and lawful bases
We use account and play information to provide the service and administer competitions under these terms. We use fraud signals and audit records for our legitimate interests in fair play and security. We process claim details to deliver prizes and verify eligibility, and may retain records where legally required. Optional marketing and push notifications rely on your choices; you can withdraw them without losing access to play.
4. Marketing choices
Business-owner status is not marketing consent. Marketing contact is optional. Withdraw consent using the Me page or contact the controller. Switch off notifications or individual topics on Me, and remove browser notification permission if desired.
5. Retention
Account and play data are retained until account deletion, unless legal obligations or a documented fraud dispute require limited records to be kept. Claim ID images are deleted 30 days after verification. Unverified claim images are kept only while needed to review a claim or resolve a dispute. Claims must be submitted within 14 days.
6. Sharing and processing
We use hosting and storage providers, AI processing through EA's own service for rugby answers, translations and content, and browser push-delivery services. We do not send prize ID photos to AI services. Delivery details may be shared with the sponsor or fulfilment provider only to deliver the prize. Public share links display your display name and the selected quiz or prediction result, not your email, address or claim documents. International processing uses appropriate safeguards where required.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and object to processing where applicable. You may withdraw consent at any time. Contact the controller using the address above; we normally respond within one month and may need to verify identity. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or call 0303 123 1113.
8. Cookies and local storage
Essential browser storage maintains your signed-in session, selected language, country filter and notification state. These are used to provide requested functionality, not advertising tracking. No optional advertising cookies are required to play.
9. Children and security
Registration is for ages 13 and over. Age bands minimise collection before a prize claim. ID images are stored privately and only authorised panel reviewers and administrators can read them. We use access controls and audit records but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
